Refurbishment Services

In addition to painting and decorating services, we also offer surface cleaning and pre-paint refurbishment services. We can provide joinery specialists for deteriorated timber and we use the highly advanced Window Care System for the restoration of wooden window frames.

Stone cleaning and substrate preparation

Surface cleaning is an essential part of preparing a substrate for painting, and our 50-strong workforce is skilled in the use of all relevant systems including shot blasting and high pressure spray equipment.

We can remove corrosion from metal structures, flaking paintwork and all kinds of grime and surface debris that typically accumulate on modern buildings. The result is a sound substrate to which our various high performance paints and coatings can be applied.

In some cases, of course, surface cleaning is all that is required, and this is particularly so in the case of structures that make use of natural stone. We excel in the removal of unsightly dirt and blemishes and have a long and successful track record of masonry restoration.

Window Care System

The Window Care System is an innovative new way of improving the durability of prior-to-paint joinery repairs and reducing maintenance costs. Using advanced polymer technology, existing windows can be repaired at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

The product is based on the Dry Flex RP System, a 2 pack epoxy that creates a substrate with remarkably similar physical properties to those of ordinary wood. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, it can be nailed, screwed, drilled, sawn, planed and painted.

It allows the curative and preventative maintenance of timber joinery and is ideal for the repair of sash windows, where replacement could be both expensive and disruptive.

In short, the Window Care System offers a number of important benefits:

  • Lower cost
  • Less disruption
  • Prolongs maintenance cycle
  • Reduces future costs
